SANS Security Panel: Risk of Data Exposure Through Application Usage
The large majority of users who access data through everyday enterprise applications are arguably the weakest link in today's computer networks, as their actions are hidden in the large volume of data generated through normal user activities. Companies across a variety of industries rely on critical applications that can access their sensitive data (e.g. call center applications, financial systems, EHR, POS, CRM, Claims processing), but these applications aren't as monitored or secured as their data storage infrastructures. Once employees login to these core applications, many organizations have no idea what they are doing.
Download this panel discussion to explore best practices to address this risk and how to prevent company data exposure through application usage. Each panelist will provide key insights and helpful tips on how to make your organization more secure and reduce the risk of data breaches, fraudulent activities and other insider threats.
